Robotic lawn mower: creating a manual for workshops.
The challenge.
The client needed a workshop manual for their latest generation of robotic lawn mowers.
The model in question differed a lot from previous models, which meant that the workshops needed additional information.
Also – due to its futuristic design and the fact that not a single angle seemed to be straight – it had proven quite a challenge to export usable vector graphics straight from 3D models.
The solution.
Views and cross sections were created and exported using CATIA. The images were edited, resulting in technical illustrations that matched the style of the client’s previous manuals.
Numerous additions and creative solutions were explored so that the illustrations conveyed their message clearly and concisely.
